Ivana Tosheva

Architect & Researcher


Background

Ivana is a UK registered architect with experience in various sectors within the construction industry. She holds a BA (Hons) with first-class honours and a MArch in Architecture with distinction from the Manchester School of Architecture. She was awarded an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice (ARB/RIBA) from the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2018.


Ivana is a driven innovator whose research interests explore the potential of data to develop dynamic digital models and tools for the analysis of complex human behaviours. She has worked on numerous research projects including the curation of an exhibition on Japan's changing urban culture in collaboration with Hosei University, showcased in both Manchester and Tokyo.


Ivana currently provides architectural consulting services specialising in BIM and 3D modelling after recently completing her funded doctoral research at the Warwick Institute for the Science of Cities (WISC). Ivana's research aspirations are to unlock the possibilities for the design of truly ‘intelligent’ buildings and the creation of novel, user-centric spaces that respond to inhabitant demands in real time.
